Savage Precision .223

I picked up a slightly used Savage Precision Carbine a few weeks ago in .223. It came with a threaded barrel in a Choate Ultimate Varmint stock. I believe it came from the factory that way, but am not sure. Anybody help me out with that question? The gun shoots very well, but haven't had time to work up loads for it.

Savage does make rifles with factory threaded barrels, but I believe the only Choate stock that comes on Savage rifles is the Choate Tactical...The Varmint stock is probably an aftermarket upgrade by the previous owner.
