Savage Police 110FP or 10FP?

Looking to get a .223 chuck buster from Savage. What is the difference between their Police 110FP and the Police 10FP? Thanks in advance!

110= long action. Probably not 1st choice for a short wheelbase cartridge like the .223

10= short action.......We have a winner!

10FP is available in .223 Rem., .260 Rem., 7mm-08 Rem., and .308 Win. (short action)

110FP is available in .25-06 Rem., .30-06 Spfld. 7mm Rem. Mag, and .300 Win. Mag. (long action)

There you have it!

BTW, I own the 10FP in .308, and it is remarkably accurate for a $450 rifle.
