Nice, what stock did you use? Also it appears you changed the scope mount and rings?

The stock is the new Bell & Carlson Medalist for Savage 10/12 models with detachable mags. This one was for a bottom bolt release on the Precision Carbine.

Yes, I switched out the mounts as well. The old mount was a set of Weaver bases and 6 Hole Tactical Rings. I've been trying to eliminate the number of joints in systems so, this is another DNZ Gamereaper mount.

Scope is the Bushnell 4200 2.5X10X50 #4 Illuminated I've always had on it. I'm debating a glass change so I can shoot it further out. That reticle is awesome for hunting but really is limited on precision and longer range work. I'd love to stick a 2.5X10X42 Nightforce Compact IHR on it.

Your rifle looks really nice. I have a PC also and at some point plan on putting a better stock on it.

That stock is a huge upgrade for that gun over the factory stock. Night and day different in the way the balance of the gun is, the feel and the way it mounts and comes to the cheek.

If I cut a shoulder on the barrel instead of using the barrel nut system, there is not much difference between building a Rem700 and a Sav110.

One thing that is different is the bolt handle.
Upgrading the Savage bolt handle is a lot easier.
