Savage Model 99C

Any advice on replacing the ejector on a Savage model 99C .308?

Mine's either broke or worn so that shells are ejected only part of the time.

Looks to be just a drop in. I've got one on order from Brownell's.

deanf, it should go right in and work without any modification. If it doesn't, check your extractor tension. The extractor may be letting go of the cases before the ejector hits them or just not holding them tightly enough against the face of the bolt. George

Just installed the new ejector, and it seems to work fine. Thanks for the advice.
