Savage model 64 F

My son recently purchased the little savage 22 and don't like the clip that came with the gun he wants a banana clip for it.Does anyone sell one for this gun? I have looked around on the internet for one and can't really find one.He would take any good quality clip don't have to be an banana.

I have owned one for years and have the same problem. That's the gun my daughter learned how to shoot with. Just buy more mags that's all I can tell you. I have 4.

Savage 64 doesn't have any mags available besides the stock one you have. It's hard to get used to but it's just a little gun to have fun with, can't expect it to be perfect in every way. Me and my buddy and his brother shot Gatorade caps at 100 yards. It's an excellent gun, the mags are a small price to pay for an accurate, reliable, low priced rifle. Have fun with it, and get a nice scope if he doesn't have one. Mine was $40 and it has 3x zoom to 9x. Capable of 100 yard shots

I agree with Pockheebs, it is a fun gun and a good scope makes it better. My friend who bought a 10/22 is jealous because my Savage is just as accurate and easier to clean. Oh yeah, it cost me $80 less.
