I have just gotten a pre-accutrigger Savage M 110 in 30-06.
The rifle is like new with a 3 ~ 9 scope, synthetic stock. Nice deer hunting rifle. The trigger pull is AWFUL. Heavy, creepy and stagey.
Midway offers two replacement trigger assemblys both about $100.00.
Is there a less expensive way to improve the pull without spending as much for a trigger that I did for the whole rifle? IE spring replacement, sear polishing, etc.
I'd prefer to hear from those that have already made the mistakes before I venture forth on my own path to mistakes..
