savage in .338 lapua

No, never shot it but held and fondled it for a short time, I was thinking at one point of getting one but the cost of it would not be justified to me brass it self is outrageous, and overall if you just don't have axcess to 500yrds and up areas to shoot should think twice.
 
My first question to you is.....Do you reload? If no, then do you have a lot of money? .338 Lapua is really expense to shoot....and compared to other cartridges, not at all cheap to reload either.

That being said, I've got a .308 Win Savage rifle....couldn't be happier with it. It shoots sub-MOA and when I'm on my game, I can squeeze the occasional .5 MOA five shot group from it.
 
Is this your first bolt action rifle? If so, .338 Lapua is not what you want to start with. Probably the last caliber you want to start with.
