I recently purchased a Fox Model B Series H 20 Gauge.
Three questions:
1. What does Series H mean?
2. How can I determine the age of the gun?
3. There are no choke markings on the barrels. How do I determine the choke on each barrel?

One additional thought.... I'd like to locate an owners manual. Ideas?

I just spent last night doing some research on the Fox B's red headed step child the Stevens 311.

As I understand they're the same internally w/fox B having nicer furniture, fit, etc.

If you pull the barrels off, there should be markings or some other indicators on the barrel flats.

You have a decent basic SxS, that if not abused, will last a decent amount of time before needing repairs
 
The year is probably mid-60s to mid-80s and the chokes should be:

26" barrels = IC and MOD

28" barrels = MOD and FULL

That's for a 20 ga.
