I'm not sure when or where it was first announced, but the following thread indicates that the Savage 10ML has been discontinued.

No more 10MLs!!!!!

Why the heck has savage stop making the greatest muzzleloader ever produced? I own 1 but I may want another someday, now the price is gonna skyrocket I hope another manufacturer buys the patent and starts making them again.

Not doubting it, just find it very surprising!! .......
Have to wonder if there is more to this story than currently published ...

Be Safe !!!

Probably because of idiots not reading the directions and stuffing it full of Bullseye or some such tomfoolery.

It's unfortunate to see it go, as it was a well executed idea.
It's pretty hard to hold in that pressure without the advantages of these little handy brass gaskets we call "cases".

That was my thought when this was first posted. Only thing that made sense. In so many cases, we are our worste enemy. ........

Do you suppose it's possible that sales were too low to justify continuing production? Mass produced products all have a minimum production rate below which the investment in production resources is no longer profitable. That's what killed the Ruger Old Army - Ruger made more money using the tooling, equipment and personnel resources allocated to the Old Army for the Vaquero and Blackhawk.

WOW! Looks like the re-sale of my Savage just doubled. I may have to see if I can buy some more of them, because I know several guys that are saving their money in order to buy one.:D
