Savage DBM convert to Blind Magazine/11LRH question

I've got a B&C Medallist stock currently sitting on a .223 that I was going to rebarrel. I'm pretty seriously considering buying a Savage 11LRH in .260 Rem and putting the B&C on it, but I want to make sure its as easy as buying the blind magazine that fits .260/.308 and putting it in the B&C like the .223 currently sits. Anyone have experience with that?

In a perfect world I would like to put the accu-stock from the 11LRH on the .223. Since the stock is set up for DBM, what would it take to get it on the .223?

What is the diameter of the muzzle on the 11LRH? Is the muzzle break considered in the overall length of the barrel (26")?

Thanks!

Three very good questions. Call Savage and ask them. I wanted to do some restocking and they were very helpful. Have your serial numbers ready when you call so they can look at how YOUR rifle is set up.

PawPaw, yeah I'm considering giving them a call. I'm in Afghanistan so that makes it harder.. still possible but not as easy, and I prefer to use my phone time with my family :) I tried their website to see if I could e-mail them, but it says they are not accepting e-mail right now.

But thanks!

So are you looking for a Bell and Carlson for a varmit barreled Savage with the "blind magazine"? I got a B&C stock for the 110 with "blind magazine" and it has pillars,, but it still needs fitting for the action... it's for a varmit barrel i think so it didn't work for me,.:(
