S Steven Mace New member Dec 8, 2000 #2 Bullwhip, look for a copy of The Ninety-Nine: A History of the Savage 99 Rifle revised 3rd edition, by Doug Murray. This is a great piece of reference on the Savage Model 1899 & 99 rifles. Hope this helps! Steve Mace
