what is the proper buttstock for a 1949 production Savage Model 99? SN is 524631 (1949 I believe)

Bill -If you're unsure as to what model 99 you have, if you remove the forend, the model letter(s) should be stamped into the receiver face on one side or the other (or both) of the magazine rotor axle.
