Savage 93R17 trigger

I use a Savage 93 R 17 for short range PA woodchucks and I am very impressed with its accuracy and performance. However, the trigger is a mess. Is there an after market trigger I can buy as a replacement or drop in spring or whatever that will improve this ugly trigger? I called Savage and although the new models are equiped with the Accu-Trigger, the trigger is not compatable with the older model guns and can not be used as a retrofit. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, but yikes!!! That's a heavy price so I think I will just learn to live with it.
