Savage 444 12ga.

I found this over/under at a shop yesterday. It is Italian made, 26 inch barrels, single trigger, with barrel selector on the safety switch, vent rib. Anyone familiar with them? What kind of reputation do they have? It was priced at $399. Other than obvious use, it was in very good shape.
 
I've seen it mentioned a couple of times on shotgun forums. The owners liked them and IIRC the going rate for a good one was about $400.

Got it for $400.00 and it is every bit as nice as I remember!"
