I was given a Savage 325C a few months ago and sent it out to be re-blued.
I want this to be a shooter and not a museum piece.
It had pretty heavy rusting, so I wanted to get it re-blued to protect the steel.
I am reasonably new to firearms and sought out a person experienced in bluing firearms.
I did a fair amount of research and he did come with good recommendations.
Unfortunately, the shop that did the bluing was less familiar with the 325 than they thought.
They messed up when reassembling it.
The trigger was reassembled incorrectly and I need a gunsmith qualified to reassemble it. Specifically the sear lever wasn't installed.
The bluing looks good and I am please with that result at least.
If you can do the work or recommend a gunsmith in the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area please contact me. Out of the area is okay as well. I will ship to a qualified person.
Please give contact info w/phone/e-mail if possible.
I would like to meet or at least talk to the person who will be doing the work.
I know that I screwed up on this one, so......
Please do not post comment about bad judgment or stupidity on my part.
I need your assistance, not your opinion.
