Savage .308 handload results!!! Found My load!!!

In the attached is the results from my newest load developement.
I was shooting 168gr. smk's and recently switched to the 168gr amax. the polymer tip seems to reduce my groups by about half.

That's a killer improvement now take that "dope" and move on to like weight bullets!!! (sometimes it works and sometimes it don't):rolleyes: but it still fun man!!:D
 
Don't ya love it when a plan comes together?

43.0 grains of RL15 is my go-to load in .308 with 165/168 bullets. It's been a winner in the three or four rifles I've tried it. I believe that it's a home-brew alternative to Federal's Gold Match load.

Thanks for the load info. It supports what I've been saying all along about that load. I'll have to get some A-Max bullets in that caliber and give them a spin.
