I sold my Savage Axis (peer pressure) and am now looking to replace it. I have the same general purpose rifle in mind, moa at 100', able to make a 300' shot, good for hand loads and off the shelf, quality rifle that will last a while. Will mostly be a range gun, but would like to be able to go into the woods with it.

I liked the Axis except for the stock, trigger, and what I was told was a barrel with a very limited life.

I have now found two contenders and I cant really tell the difference. Both in .308 win and have the same scope. The 10 th xp vs the 11 th xp. The only difference I can see is one has a wooden stock and and one holds and extra round.

What do I need to know to make a decision?

Thanks

The 110/10 has a satin wood stock and the 111/11 has a black synthetic stock. I have a 11 in .223 and it is a real shooter with cheap ammo. The scopes that come on the guns a a good value. Cant beat it for the money

I have the 11 XP as well and it is a great shooter for a hundred bucks more the wood stock would be worth it IMHO. The savage Tupperware stock is very flimsy
