Savage 1907

Hey all. Not sure if this is the right spot for this. Anyway...
A friends father had passed away recently and she was left with quite a collection of firearms. Among them is quit a few Savage 1907s. She is looking to sell off a few.
I figured why not. I see them online and prices vary a lot. She's not looking to get rich and I'm not looking to steal them from her.
Any idea what a fair price would be for functioning but not pretty?
Also what are problem areas on these as I am not a collector or even very familiar with these.
Thanks

When you say not pretty, do you mean the finish is worn, or that there is rust, cracked grips, that sort of thing? Finish isn't a big deal, but other damage will reduce the value. I paid $325 for a fairly good .32 ACP a couple years ago. The finish is aged, but everything is intact, and it functions perfectly. That's one data point. I don't know of any major flaws in the design. It's a lot of fun to shoot.

I have bought two similar older-model 32acp pistols in the past six months or so. They were both in pretty good shape and functioned well. I paid $300 apiece for them and felt it was a fair price.

Mainly finish is beat up pretty good. From what I've been told. I will get a hands on look in a couple weeks and have my pick of the bunch. They supposedly all function but I will get to test that.

Assuming the guns are functional, original finish will be the single most important factor in determining value.
I've been involved in a few third-party, "she wants to get rid of them" deals, and it always turned into "she wants to get rid of them at blue book prices".

I don't care about finish and she doesn't care about the money. So hopefully we can come to a fair deal for both parties.
If I get 1 it will be shot not put in a safe or resold
