Early 1960's 110, need help adjusting trigger, any specific sequence like they have for the 700 Remington, It has 2 screws.thanks

I don't know if I can explain it without looking at one. But do a google search and there are alot of good descriptions with pics. I replace the wire spring with a smaller diameter music wire spring. I believe it's .040 diameter. I can usually get them down around 3lb's and no creep or overtravel. But for my current build I'm using a Rifle basix. It's 1.5-3lb adjustable. Not bad for $80

I found an article in "sniper country" website a while back.

Also, I have an article written by a "Ken RUSSO" which appears to be a web site printout, but no site listed.

I have tweaked 3 different Savage 110 triggers using this info and gotten useable SAFE triggers.

It is possible to take the triggers down to far. Be sure and bump test/slam test your trigs before going afield.

I could take my match rifle trig down further, but it would not be a safe field trigger, so I leave it, near 3 lbs. I have a stock trig on my Savage scout that is simply unbelievable, yet still safe.

Good luck
