I have a Sauer M38H that my wife and I are looking to sell, but I have yet to see one with a 2 piece wood grip which this one has. I suspect that my father-in-law had the grip made. It also has the Luftwafa insignia on the frame. Anyone have any information as to how much it might be worth?
 
It would be helpful to post pictures and a partial serial number. There are several different variations of these pistols.

I'm fairly positive that the wood grips are not original. All the factory 38H grips I've seen have been black or brown Bakelite (plastic), but the Bakelite grips often crack through the grip screw, so it's common to see 38H's with aftermarket or homemade grips.
