Hammer won't stay cocked. Received the foolowing advice; acted on it.
Things to check are a gooped-up action from old grease and fouling.
Pistol is clean and properly lubed
Check the springs for presence and strength.
All springs present, seem fine in tension.
Check the hammer notches, the sear tip, etc for wear, chips, or alteration by "Billy Bob".
Hammer and sear fine, no evidence of alteration.
Make sure the de-cocker assembly is working properly and isn't forcing the
hammer to de-cock. Check the springs and for a frozen de-cocker assembly.
De-cocker insert in sear moves freely, de-cocker lever seems to work OK.
Trigger bar disconnecter works fine.
When cycling slow by hand resets every time, cycling rapidly fails to reset
about 90% of the time.
Any ideas??
