I celebrate her birthday every year by buying a gun. If she wishes me to stop buying guns, she has only to stop having birthdays.

All are encouraged to join me.

Or else send her a pack of smokes to hurry that lung cancer along. I believe she smokes Marlboros.

Wow...while I totally disagree what Mrs Brady stand for..I certainly don't wish the woman dead. Her husband was "gorked" but a .22 revolver totting madman who watched Taxi Driver a little too much. She could have went after the movie industry for making violent movies, she could have went after the goverment for not doing more for the mentally unstable, but instead she went after the gun industry. I give her credit for at least trying to get some sort of revenge for what happen to her husband...even though it is misguided. I would have went after Hinkley and his family...but she went after the guns.

Look at John Walsh. His little kid gets kidnapped and killed, and he crusades and starts the America's Most Wanted TV show and he heads the center for missing and exploited Children.

Again its not like she is some liberal that has a bug up her backside about guns, and that is the only reason she wants them gone. She working out her rage and grief, thru crusading, and even though she is my enemy, at least out of all the liberal anti-gunners, I see the reasoning behind her stance.

I guess I respect crusaders, if your kid is killed by a Drunk Driver, if your wife is badly hurt in a car crash at a notoriously bad intersection, etc, etc. you don't just whine and get depressed, you try to fix it, its just she is misguided in some aspects...2 day waiting period for handgun purchases...annoying but I can deal...take away all gun...no way.

There's no reasoning behind her stance. She's a frothing, lying nutjob. She has NEVER to my knowledge made a factual statement, lies whenever possible, bigotedly stereotypes us as murderers in waiting, helped push campaign finance "reform" for the stated purpose of silencing the NRA and yet happily buys guns for her son and complains about the legal hassles, because, after all, she's above reproach.:barf:

I want to see the bitch dead, and slowly and painfully from the cancer she's gotten by smoking (around her kids, no less, while she talks about the dangers WE pose to our kids with guns) seems a poetic revenge.

The only reason I pray she doesn't get shot by a loon is because it would give ammo to her "cause." But a semi with bad brakes would not be remiss.

Nope. I buy a gun every Feb 6, and send her a photocopy of the receipt and a pack of smokes.

I reserve class for people who deserve it.

Whew! Sir, I think you are way overstating your case there. You are acting and thinking just like she does about us. Do you really want that? I can't stand her either or the mad crusade she represents, but let's refrain from vile statements or thoughts such as those.
I'm not defending her in the least, I'm more concerned about your state of mind.

What state of mind? I'm looking forward to my new gun.:)

The scumbag lawyer who went after tobacco because, in his own words, he stood to make a billion dollars in contingency fees, and then started the crop of suits against the gun industry died two years ago of liver cancer.

I threw a party and toasted him.

Some people light up the world with their presence, others with their departure.

You aren't really going to be sad if she kicks off tonight, are you? I'm just honest about my loathing.

Think of it as an adjunct to Ammo Day. We get more guns, the industry gets a profit, she gets irritated. I don't see the bad side.:D

Bigjack: she still IS a Republican, on paper. And insists therefore, since she's a REAL Republican, those of you who support firearms ownership are a lunatic fringe.

Her husband was Reagan's press secretary. It's tragic that he took fire, but if you hang around the most powerful man in the world, it's a known risk of the job.

http://www.bradycampaign.org Go ahead. Take a look if you haven't recently. Tell me you have ANY respect for this piece of rotting garbage.

I admit I wouldn't shed a tear if she did, but neither would I go out of my way to celebrate her departure. No problem with buying a gun on her B day in defiance of her tyranical stance, but there is a difference between that and calling her a b-i-t-c-h that you want to die slowly from lung cancer as poetic revenge. Christians have a saying, "hate the sin not the sinner." In the end, that kind of bitterness only hurts yourself and the cause you represent with such a line of thinking. You become the very thing you despise.

Doug, I respect your moral stand. It's consistent, reasonable, and yet one more example of why most gun owners are better people than our opponents.

I will certainly make no effort to hurt her, and I will definitely take proper action against anyone I think would hurt her, both from a sense of duty and because of the damage it would cause us.

But when she dies from God's doing or random natural events, I intend to PARTYYYYYY:D
