Well, they sure did test it enough. I wasn't fond of the trigger when I held one, but I doubt I could wear one out.Any experience? Thoughts? Knowledge?

Lower has some definite similarities. Slide/upper has none. It's more Walther if anything.Looks like an HK clone.

I bought one today. $270 OTD.
I will do a little trigger work, but other than that, it's a nice pistol. Machine work is far superior to Glock. The CNC work is so good, it looks honed.

I’ve owned a P99, PPQ, and a PDP. What on this is like a Walther?

When you put the exploded diagrams of the PPQ, Sar 9, and Hk together; I see many more upper similarities between the Sar and Walther than I see between Sar and HK.I’ve owned a P99, PPQ, and a PDP. What on this is like a Walther?

Fair enough. The Walther is much more “traditional” in terms of internal function than the HK. When you look at the mechanical function of the VP9 closely it has a lot going on (not saying that’s good or bad).
