SAR-4800

Could someone give me an idea of the approximate value of a Springfield Armory SAR-4800? I ran across this rifle yesterday on consignment in a local shop. New, unfired, condition. Two ten-round mags. Apparently the box is missing.

Checked the latest issue of Gunlist and the asking price for the earlier (pre-ban) SAR48 runs from $1,650 for the heavy barrel. If the SAR4800 is the thumbhole stock version of the SAR48, I'd knock a couple hundred plus off the price. Anyone else?
