I just picked up some VZ Elite Tactical Carry 1911 grips and the small checkering seems too be a little too sharp for my fingers....Any suggestions on smoothing them out? Do you use a file? ....or sandpaper?...and if sandpaper, what grit do you recommend? Any insight on this matter would be greatly appreciated...thanks!
