San Francisco Struggles to Keep Up with Massive Gun Return by Gang Members

Gang SAN FRANCISCO, California --- After San Francisco voters banned guns in the most recent election, city officials say they are struggling to keep up with the massive amount of guns being voluntarily turned over by gang members and other criminals.

"When I proposed this ballot initiative, I knew we'd rid the city of guns," said Supervisor Chris Daly. "I guess I wasn't prepared for the massive turnout by local gang members so eager to give us their guns. We're having to take away from resources in our pot farming initiative that passed in the last election in order to handle all of these guns."

Gang members were lined up for several blocks outside of a San Francisco police station in order to turn over their guns. "It's the right thing to do, yo," said a gangbanger known as Fizzle. "Da peeps in Frisco said no to guns, so we got no choice but to hand over that shizat. Now I gots to go be an organic farmer or some **** like dat. It ain't right. I stole this .45 two years ago, and now I have to give it to the police. It just ain't right."

The gun ban is so effective that police are reporting gang members and violent criminals from as far away as Bakersfield lining up to turn over their illegal and stolen firearms. "I've never seen anything like it," said one officer. "We've been talking about turning over our own guns, because we won't even need them any more. This is exactly what we thought would happen, and it's just so amazing to see it actually coming to fruition."

" I love it when a plan comes together" well they better start planning for the influx of illegal drugs turned in when they ban them to.

depends

If there is a 'no questions asked' policy, then it would be a great way to get rid of a 'hot' gun.
Just dunk the sucker in solvent overnight, rub off fingerprints, and deliver wearing gloves= no connection between you and the gun.
its a gangsters dream.

Sounds like too much work. Remember, SF is the "city by the bay". If a person wants to get rid on a hot gun that fast, they aren't going to turn it in; the gun will simply go "ka-PLOOK" in the bay.

Yep. They have problems finding the bodies of people who jump off the Golden Gate Bridge... let alone a small piece of metal tossed off of it.

Wait And See The Potholes

Heheheh Just A Matter Of Time Before They Venture Out To Banning Self Defense By Throwing Rocks At A A Mugger, Imagine San Franciscans Chipping Off The Pavement For A Chunk To Use For Self Defense.
Good News To Oakland, Black Market Demand To Rise The City's Stock Price In The "weapons Black Market Exchange."

Shame On Kalifornia, Where's Arnold When We Need Him??

Ps Gangsters Massively Turning In Firearms, Of Course, They Need To Upgrade Their Arsenals, Feel Sorry For The Cops Who Will Be Outgunned More Than Ever, This Guys Are Turning In Revolvers And Handguns To Rise Funds For Assault Rifles.
There Was A Buy-back Campaign Back In 93 Or 94 In Los Angeles, One Gang Member Openly Admitted To Turning In A Stolen Weapon For $200, When Asked What He Was Planning To Do With The Money He Replied: "buy Me A New Handgun, The One I Sold Was Jamming A Lot" Jejejeje Honesty Goes A Long Way.
Owners Of Stolen Guns Should Sue The Cops For Buying Stolen Property, Which They Don't Ever Return To The Rightful Owners

I Just Hope That....

JUST HOPE THAT THEY R NOT USING STATE FUNDS, I WOULD HATE MY TAXES GOING TO SUBSIDIZE THE RENEWAL OF THE CRININALS ARSENALS:mad:

It sure would be nice if this well written tongue in cheek piece was printed in a San Fran Newspaper. They would never do it voluntarily however it could be run as a paid advertisement similar to the many ads I have seen that look like genuine news articles. If I had the money I would do it myself.

A.F.I.

Please be aware that typing in "Title Case" (each word starting with a capital) makes your text sort of annoying to read. Some, like me, might even skip your post if it's rendered that way.

Just thought I'd help you reach a wider audience. I recommend typing in regular mixed-case letters.

Caps and difficulty, or screaming.

Actually most of the reports that were hand written in my day were with Caps. Is this really HARDER TO READ ??? Another reason the english language is difficult is the different cases (as in upper and lower).

I have heard and read many times that persons think you are screaming and it is annoying to read. I wonder how that developed?
How about this:
Ida-Frank ida nora david-Tom henry ida sam-Tom ocean-Boy edward-Edward victor edward nora-Henry adam robert david edward robert. ;) Like what are I doing? Dog?:D

That, however, is both harder and more annoying to read. :)
