San Francisco is now a "Free kill zone"

Has everyone heard about the genius law they've passed in San Francisco banning handguns within the city limits, even within private residences? The police have stated that they don't know how they're going to get control of the crime rate. So, of course, the logical answer is to disarm citizens, which will in turn control criminals:confused:  . Like criminals are going to obey the "gun free zone" law!! I'm just waiting to see what they'll do next when the crime rate explodes. Maybe they'll follow England's brilliant law banning knives!!

The people who voted for the ban will get what they deserve.

Unfortunately, the people who voted against the ban will also get what the the people who voted for the ban deserve.

Local news reports have been lauding the effectiveness of placing video cameras on street lights to survey areas of high crime. Apparently its worked so well that more cameras have been ordered. So after disarming their citizens their next step will be to step up their surveillance to make sure people behave. The whole thing feels too big brother-ish for me. :barf:

Are San Franciscans really that gullible ?

Never mind; they voted for the ban.

Ah yes, the city where karma meets credulity. The ban is being challenged as we speak by our side. The criminal element is ecstatic, as one could imagine. It will be interesting to see how the city intends to enforce this unconstitutional measure. The resources devoted to so doing must of necessity come from those most needed to combat real crime. Talk about stepping on one's own privates! Sheesh! As Stempy would say, "EEEDIOTS!"

If what happened in Toronto is any indicator there will be a rapid increase of suicides via jumping. So they should probably put a couple of those cameras on the Golden Gate Bridge so they can ID the jumpers. :(

Let's see if I got this right . If you CAN'T have a gun and you CAN'T commit a crime due to cameras EVERYWHERE when you get robbed and killed you CAN'T really be dead ? Most reassuring .

I'm guessing there will probably be no change in the crime rate in San Francisco, or in the case of Australia it will go up very slightly, so statistically insignificant that it doesn't reveal anything.

I hope those cameras are bullet, rock, paint proof cause usually they don't last long. I wonder how much would be left if you hit them with a .308?

In england I hear that some of the gangs stage a fight between members to divert attention away from the guys that are looking to rob someone.

The FIVE FACTS of Life In Queen-Town

Fact: In SF, you can no longer possess a handgun.
Fact: The police cannot protect you.
Fact: The police are under no obligation to protect you.
Fact: The police have a vested interest in crime.
Fact: You are now totally reliant on the government.

Conclusion: The above 5 facts are the first step to a leftist dictatorship.

If I may: Fact #5 should instead read "You are now required to rely on the govt which absolutely won't do anything to help you".

No, those people still have a choice. Right now, if the law stands in the courts, they still have a choice of what they will do.

Nobody wants to be the test case, I don't blame them, but overall they still have a choice in the matter and what they are willing to do.

I just hope that when the crime rate gets out of control, more and more gangs move in, and that one person or persons that have made their choice, can show the entire state as well as the city the fallacy of the new law and open the eyes of those around them.

...or as in the case of Scotland it will go up astronomically.

Maybe, but I based my guess on the assumption that God hates gun owners. So the crime rate going up would be a good thing for pro seconds (momentarily bad for San Franciscans) because it would show the fruits and nuts the truth.
