San Diego Assault Weapon Ban Poll...

Southern California, minus Los Angeles and vicinities, is pretty conservative. California doesn't automatically equates to Kalifornia.

Same old story.
A few people making bad decisions for all the rest.
Hard to understand why all the rest don't replace those few, though.
It shouldn't be that hard.
But it seems to be.

Probably it is not that high on many people's list of political priorities. There are a plethora of government issues that are hot topics during most elections, not just gun control. If you make a political race into a one issue election, then things might get really twisted around.

Great post! I find this interesting... and it certainly relates to a lot of the other posts. If 85% of people on this poll vote against a ban, and a ban does happen... there are two possible reasons. The poll did not represent the voting populace... OR people that voted on the poll, did NOT go out and vote "in real life"

Why are people in favor of the 2nd amendment often referred to as "gun nuts" ? Because the majority of the supporters of the 2nd amendment do not vocalize it! The majority of Americans are against gun control, but gun control is growing. Why? Because people believe but don't support! Vocalize!

Part of why it may pass is that the (....Uber lefties) have figured out how to get their vote out.
