One of the San Antonio area Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC)
teams needs our help. These teams compete in events that pertain to the
various shooting sports, archery, orienteering, etc.. Their former
sponsor, the Texas Hunter Education Association, has decided that
because they could not run the YHEC event, a NRA sanctioned and run
program, that they would not sponsor this team. This decision by the
THEA has left this group of young people without the support they need
to compete in the State championship. If you or anyone that you know
would be interested in helping them out please contact Jimmie Barr at
