Sako Vixen L461 Mint

Found a Sako Vixen L461 mint and I mean Mint unfired. Caliber .223.Sports an old weaver K12 with front lens adjustable objective. Heavy Barrel version no import. Cant get pics downloaded for some reason. Think they're too big.

Way cool. I like the old Sako actions. I have a 22-250 on a L579. The old Sakos just had a different no-nonsense feel to them.

The build quality is amazing. I'm guessing a 1n12 or 1n14 twist. Probably 45-60 gr bullets best.

That vintage, might be a 1:14" twist. I would go with 45-53 gr bullets.

 

[Bottom Gun]

I believe it is a 1 in 12 twist. My Vixens will shoot accurately with most bullets in the 50 to 70 gr range.
