Sako quad (Varmint)

Regarding Sakos “Quad” rifle, I was wondering a few things.

I notice there’s 2 different variations of the varmint stock, they seam to only sell a darker brown stock, without the accents.
I’ve seen one similar to the Sako Synthetic Quads (Grip, marking on beavertail etc), With a very high quality Walnut, without monte carlo.
Can I still get these?

Secondly, Comparing a Sako Quad receiver to an Anschutz 64 receiver, Provided a Change out the barrel, would I expect better performance?
The 1Kg trigger on the 54 is putting me off, but the sako set trigger definitely is a lot lighter than my usual standard of 400 grams, I’ve never shot anything below 400, and 1kg (2.2 pounds) just feels to high for me to precision shoot with.

Also, With the set trigger activated, can I safely unload the rifle without setting off the trigger?
I’ve noticed a formers anschutz 1913BR would set the trigger off if the bolt was pulled up occasionally.

Not sure if mine is the same as what you're describing but it has the accents and the Monte-Carlo stock. Never tried an Anschutz but I love my Quad Varmint (.22lr and .17hmr), it has the best trigger of all my rimfires by far (no creep, wonderful break).

It easily shoots the same hole at 50 yards over and over w. the .22 barrel (.17hmr is a laser of course) but I'm not really a target shooter, it's more for fun; I'm guessing someone with more experience could do the same at longer ranges as well (I haven't really tried much past 50 yards w. .22).

I have a Nikon EFR scope (adjustable parallax) that makes it easier to shoot from 10 yards out to 100 yards. Only other thing is I wish it came from the factory drilled and tapped (has an 11mm rail like the CZ rimfires) and had a full metal bolt handle (with what you're paying for one of those guns new, you figure they could do that...)

Would this be your stock?

Looks like that, but with lighter and somewhat nicer wood (at least to my eyes). Do they offer different "grades" perhaps? Either way, it's very comfortable and the flat forend makes for easy bench shooting as well.
