Saiga Conversion Process

Any information on the process of converting a new in the box Saiga 12 ga. (sporterized) to something a little more dressed up would be appreciated -- more specifically moving the trigger to fit a pistol grip.

Thanks a bunch

It isn't hard, but the best write ups are over at the Saiga Forum. The actual work took me all of an hour or two (not counting the time I spent waiting for the Duracoat to cure; when you remove the trigger plate it will uncover bare metal, so you do need to have a plan to deal with that).

Some of the conversion process has been simplified by the factory. Many of the guns are now coming with all the holes cut but with the trigger plate covering them. If you have one of these the conversion process is mostly removing the rear trigger plate and installing the new parts. Not a hard process. There are also several Youtube vids showing the process.

Also try the new Siagafiles site. Good folks who can help out with your needs as well.
