Saiga 7.62x39 trade advice

In the interests of compatibility would like to trade the 7.62x39 for a .223/5.56. What would be my best bet for trying for a trade?

1.) Best value
2.) Best function/accuracy

Should I try to stay with the AK action as opposed to AR, or even a Mini 14?

Informed advice would be appreciated.

saiga in .223 is pretty afordable....@ 300 bucks.

Not sure what you mean by "best bet for trying for a trade". in any case any new(ish) AR-15 type will be valued higher than most AK varients, so your SOL on that.

I traded (sold) my Saiga conversion for a S&W Sport. Couldn't be happier.

Not sure, could be wrong, but I don't know if anyone would give up a .223 for an x39.
