while at a local gun store the other day, i came across a saiga 410 semi auto shotgun. I dont know too much about saiga, but i was intrigued by this gun. i liked the AK styling and thought that it might be a fun gun to shoot, i believe the price for it was $200. Suggestions? comments? or Anyone who has experience with saiga shotguns, particularly in .410 let me know what you think, thanks!

I'd definately pick it up for only $200. That seems pretty fair to me.
I'm not a big fan of the .410 bore shell because of the price of them, but that Saiga shotgun is very cool looking. I would definatly buy that if I were you. What types of choke do you plan for it? From a few google searches I did, it seems like there's a choice in fixed chokes from cylinder to full.

Thanks for the help guys, ill have to go see if i can put it on lay away. one other thing im wondering about, is if there are extra, and higher capacity magazines available for the gun. ive seen some people talking about 10 rd. magazines but i havent been able to find any so far. ive also heard that extending the magazine to that capacity would make the gun considered an "assault weapon" is this true? any help with these matters would be appreciated, thanks!

10 rounds in a semi does not make it a DD. The street sweeper and USAS were made DD and they both had mags over ten rounds. But there is no rule against making larger mags.
BUT you must follow 922R of the facist...Erm....I mean Federal law.
So you will have to have LESS THAN 10 IMPORTED PARTS FROM THE LIST. You may swap the parts out with US made parts. You will find it on that website in the above post.
