Saiga-20 gas tube removal

I feel kinda stupid asking but I just cant figure it out, and the manual doesnt help much at all.
I'm familiar with the AK action because I have a VEPR K but this Saiga is different. There is no lever, and the gas tube almost looks like its permanently fixed.
If somebody could help me in getting that gas tube off I'd really appreciate it.

I"m not positive, but i think the gas block holds it in place, meaning you would have to drift out the pins of the gasblock to take it off. I dont' think it was intended to be removeable, as i beleive it has extra parts inside. mine has a little thunk in the area when i turn my muzzel from down to up, makes me think of a m-1 carbine type gas piston in there.
