a few years ago i read an article about some police being armed with the saiga 12 but the ones they had were equipt with a 30 round mags (they were pretty big mags too) and i want to know whare you can get 30 rounders for the saiga
 
look around on the net and etc there still might be clauses not allowiing them to be imported but who knows.
 
The 2 available magazines for the 12 guage Saiga-12 are 5rd and 8rd. for comparison, the 5rd mag is 1/2inch shorter than an M-16 30rd mag. A 30rd single stack 12 guage magazine would be about as long as the shotgun itself, and probably weigh more.
 
there is no way they were issued 30 round 12 gauge siaga mags.

The 10 round mag is pretty dam big. a 30 round mag as stated above would be like almost 3' long.

even if it was a double stack thats still like a 15 round single stack which is way to big to be tactically sound. would be like a 'novelty' size
 
I don't think it would be possible to build a conventional magazine that would hold and reliably feed thirty 12 gauge shotshells.

Some 10 round magazines might be produced domestically, but you will never find larger ones.
