$469 is quite a good price for a S12.
I like mine- I did the conversion to a regular AK pistol grip and stock setup. Very simple. Do keep in mind that magazines need to be fit to the gun (you shave the mag catch a bit)- the one in the box will have had that done, but new ones might need tweaking (just go off the one that comes with it as a guide).

That's the best price I've seen on those things in quite a while! When I seriously went out to purchase one, it was a good $200 more than that. I wound up buying a S&W M&P45c instead. I know there is zero similarity between the two, but they were both on 'the list.' When money starts rolling again, I may have to order one of these!
