SAFE's commercial in Colorado

Have any of you, familiar with the amendment 22 initiative (basically eliminating private sales of guns, mostly at gun shows), seen SAFE's commercial?

It shows a bunch of kids, then they slowly fade off the screen. Then they say something like 9 out of 10 kids will be killed by a gun. I did'nt see it, but my wife did and told me about it.

It appears to be a wild spin on numbers. 9 out of 10 is 90%. If that was the case, then why do we need so many school bond issues, more funding, more buildings. We should be able to reduce taxes dramatically where schools are concerned.

90% don't die from all types of death causing instruments, pools, doctors, cars...

Someone is also removing a lot of the signs posted around town. Especially the vote no on 22 signs.

I guess that overpopulation thing has been solved. 90% of kids being killed. At that rate there will be none left on the planet in a few generations. As for signs being stolen, its the mark of desperate fools. I hae laways been a proponent of electrified political signs. Would make things interesting to say the least.

Call me desperate, but if I lived there I'd be stealing signs. I don't want to loose my guns. Other than my family, they're the most important thing to me, because they protect my liberty and family. I'd lie, cheat, steal or kill to keep them, and taking down a few signs sounds like a good idea. I'd take the signs and go start a friggen bon-fire at their headquarters. (after hours, of course) I'm tired of them lie-ing just to get the fence sitters on their side. Most ignorant un-informed types will be like "ya know bob, since we only have 3 children, the odds aren't good that any of them will reach adulthood. we'd better vote, and get these guns off the street."

The signs that are disappearing/being stolen are the pro-gun signs. I Think SAFE and the MMM groups are taking them.

In other words, pro-gunners can't advertise but the anti's can.

These same types preach tolerance; I find them to be most in-tolerant in their hate towards those trying to save the bill of rights.

ACTUALLY the commercial says that 10 kids will be killed by guns TODAY. More politcal BS to scare the unwashed masses. I just wish that every time a politician or PAC put a commercial on the air, that they would HAVE to prove their facts. If they couldn't, they could be sued by whoever or whatever they are trying to control. And make no mistake about the politcal process, it's all about who gets to control us sheeple. And yes, thats what WE ALL ARE (I include myself). Because otherwise, our country would have gone up in revolutionary flames a long time ago with sheeple ACTUALLY FIGHTING for the rights their fore fathers died to concieve.
