Safariland Custom Fit Holster?

Hello - Until now I have gone holsterless, but I have decided to get something, anyway at last - S&W has this guy right in their catalog, and I have seen it for less at other distributors, the "Safariland Custom Fit Holster", which looks like this when it is embracing a 686:

I am hoping that since Smith has it right in their catalog, that it is a good one? I like the idea that it is leather, sleek, and has the adjustment screws in it to adapt it to the specifics of a given firearm, and seems to allow you to adjust the angle of the gun (if I read blurb right).

This is not for frequent use, is for range and firearms class use, with the possibilty of future CCW, with a S&W 686. I don't want an inside-the-waistband holster, as there's not a lot of extra room inside the waistband these days. :o :D

Has anyone tried one of these guys? Any feedback on them?

The Safariland description is:
This holster from Safariland is the lightest, thinnest, best fitting concealed carry holster available. Their patented 3-Point Adjustment System lets you adjust the hold and draw you want to fit your handgun better. The belt loop adjusts for cant and accommodates belts from 1" to 1-3/4". It's unique composite design uses a selection of modern, lightweight materials and time proven natural leather to create the closest fitting holster in it's class. It's lined with premium-brushed leather suede for optimum fit and weapon protection. Available in plain black finish.

That is a very nice holster.
When Neal Perkins owned Safariland he took car dashboard materials and molded it into holsters. They will fit only the gun it is designed for. I know. I have a 1970's holster for a 1911 that you can't maake fit anything else. Make sure what gun it fits...
