Safari Arms 1911 models

The local hock shop has a 1911 available for $595. 1 mag included


Large block-type letters on right side of the slide say "SAFARI ARMS". Grip frame has finger groove. Dark finish, doesn't look like bluing

Fully adjustable rear sight, ramp front

Any idea what model of Safari Arms this is, and is the price totally out of line?

I have read that the original company made decent guns and Olympic Arms didn't do so well after buying the company. Trying to understand what model this is.

I would not shy away from the olympic arms ones.
The main thing is how the finger groove fits you, you'll either like it or you won't.

I'm not certain about the transition of safari arms/schutzen pistol works/olympic arms And the dates.
