Saddam guilty

The only ones who should get to watch, are those who have suffered under his regime. If you're watering at the mouth to see a hanging, then you're no better than Sadaam himself

I sort of expected some of that crap. Bush waived his magic wand and made the verdict guilty so the republicans can win the election:rolleyes: Just like he waived his wand and made the gas prices cheaper:rolleyes: . I've got news for you guys, Kerry took care of that election for the Demorats.:D

hang him hell

Hang him hell! They should have shot him right where the found him, and save the world a whole lot of trouble, besides, that a waste of a good rope.
A 45acp will do just fine.

The public trial use needed to show that the new Gov't was not the same as the old Gov't. Guilty no joke that was like saying I got wet when I fell in the water. The Hanging should be wittnessed by the people and press to assure the Iraqi people that is was done properly and not make a dog and pony show out of it.

Personally, I wouldn't pay to watch. I was just hoping that if they put it on Pay per View we'd recover some of that $320 billion we've spent there.

What's important is that through all the threats to attorneys and judges alike, all the beauracratic bull$hit, and everything else that has happened since this thing started. They actually came to the decision that most everyone was expecting and hoping for. I don't care if it was Bush's magic wand or whatever, I don't even care if it's publicized or not. Just as long as the he gets to feel the rope around his neck. Hell, he made such a spectacle during the trial, it would serve him right that they hang him with absolutely noone watching at all except the executioner.

I'm kind of sad that he won't be tried for all the crimes against humanity for which we gave him the chemical weapons. That would have more than a little entertaining.

This comes up two days before midterms? I'm shocked, shocked I say!

The media knew the verdict was going to be read today for weeks. Joe Average didn't. You don't really think this is a coincidence, do you? I don't and I dont think it'll have any real effect on the polls either.

It's going to tick off people who are against the death penalty and/or are against the war in Iraq, and it's going to be a tip of the hat from people who are pro-death penalty and/or in favour of the war in Iraq.

Which means... it's going to make liberals vote Democrat and conservatives vote Republican.

What!?!?!? I thought the neo-cons assured us time and time again that this war was not going to cost tax payers a single cent???:p

Another vote to televise Saddam's necktie party on Pay Per View.

A section of the execution rope should be cut after Saddam dangles and be presented to the 4th ID.

I also heard a blurb on ABC News Radio that the Iranians are jumping for joy. I wonder if this'll give us any diplomatic leverage with them?

Im sure Hillary Clinton or John Kerry will file a protest with someone over poor Saddams mistreatment.:barf:
