SA Gun show

Went to the gun show today. Attendance
was low but the weather is crappy.

The dealers were there and I was interesting in the SW selection. It was fairly decent with the emphasis on snubbies.

I asked a couple on the deal and they thought SW was wrong but hedged on selling their products. I didn't push them.

It's a shame. The 342PD is an amazingly light pocket gun. However, it is $150 more than
the 642 and that's not worth it. Given I'm broke (kid in school) by the time I could afford it - the gun would probably be after the Traitor Day production.

Saw a fair amount of Taurus Snubbies if I ever want another one.

Lots of other semis if you want one.
Glocks of all kinds. Rugers, etc.

Glen:

I may go tomorrow looking for pistol ammo. Went last month, though, looking for a possible Makarov and to fantasize about an AR.

I'll echo your observations (saw a lot of Rugers) but was disappointed expecting to see more of the current crop of Maks. The place was PACKED. Heard about the show in Houston, but never mustered the energy to make the trip.

Regards,

SA Scott

Scott - the SA show is usually low on the inexpensive but good guns like the Maks. I
didn't see any that I recall. Also, you see
all these neat SWs advertised in SGN and the used one in San Antonio are close to the new ones in price.

I did see a couple of Security Sixes at
at a reasonalbe price.

I'd like to make the Dallas and Houston shows
but too lazy.

I make it to Austin sometimes.
