National Park Gun Carry Bill

*** Urgent! We need to roll up our sleeves and hit this hard! ***
Senator George Allen (R) of Virginia, in keeping his word to gun owners, has introduced S 4057, the National Park Second Amendment Restoration and Personal Protection Act of 2006, which will allow gun owners to carry in a National Park as long as the state where the National Park is located allows carry in parks!
Senator Allen needs to get the bill to a Floor vote in the Senate and get it off to the House for passage. That must happen before the end of the current session of Congress!
We need to do the following things ASAP to help Senator Allen MAKE THIS HAPPEN!:
1. It is urgent to contact Senator Allen and thank him for introducing S 4057 and to encourage him to use any means necessary to get a vote on that bill as soon as possible.
You can send your emails to Paul Unger, Senator Allen's Legislative Director and he will forward them to the Senator. Here is Paul's email address:

2. Contact U.S. Senate Majority Leader, Bill Frist, and ask him to fast-track bill S 4057!

3. Contact your state's U.S. senators and ask them to push to get bill S 4057 to the Floor and vote to pass it.

4. Senator Allen's bill has now been read twice and is in the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, headed up by Senator Pete Domenici from New Mexico!
