D DPris Member Emeritus Jun 30, 2012 #2 No. There were only a relative few that did & do, and S&W has returned at least two of those to one-piecers. Most do not have two-piece barrels. Some of the lighter J-Frames with alloy frames & barrel shrouds will be two-piecers. Denis

D Dfariswheel New member Jun 30, 2012 #3 So do many of the alloy "L" frame models and possibly some of the "N" frames. I'm not sure what standard S&W uses to determine whether a revolver gets a two piece barrel and which don't.
