S&W sw22 victory ?

Looking for a reliable .22 for range fun.
A lot of .22 threads here but not much about the Victory.
I know the Rugers and Buckmarks rule the .22 world, but this one looks great too.
Comes with 2 mags and rail.
Was pretty much set to buy a Buckmark then this one got my attention.
Any input about the S&W Victory?

Don't have one currently, however have handled one and read multiple reviews. The opinions out there thus far seem to be overwhelmingly positive. Great price point with a very simplistic take down procedure which seems to appeal to many. Smith has even teamed up with Volquartsen and offers aftermarket barrels for the Victory.

If I were in the market for another.22 semi auto the victory would be my first choice. That said you can't go wrong with the Ruger or browning either

I've been very pleased with mine. The factory trigger is quite acceptable, and the fast take down is a refreshing change. Stock barrel was surprisingly accurate, almost as good as the VQ carbon fiber barrel that's on it now. I'm not a real fan of the stock sights, as I shoot better with the irons on my model 41. The Victory was bought to be the main host for a Mask HD can. McFadden is supposedly working on a version of their mag loader for the gun, which would be a great help in expending boatloads of ammo in a timely manner.

Thanks guys, there is a lot of good stuff about the Victory out there I just wanted to hear what the thoughts are in here. Thanks bbqncigars for the 1st hand information.
