S&W Shield45

Smith & Wesson will be sending out it's new shield in 45ACP in June. I have a M&P Shield 40 NTS and I like it alot. This is very interesting.
 
My 9mm Shield is a very pleasant shooter . I doubt that one in .45 will be as pleasant. This may prove to be the "bridge too far" for S&W .
 
I've never held or shot a G36 or xds45, but I wouldn't expect a shield 45 to be much different. Might consider one if I ever get a .45 again, based on price alone.
 
Given a choice between a .45ACP and a .40S&W in the same pistol form factor, I'll take the .45ACP every time!
