Lucked into this 1905HE in 32Win. Had been somebody else’s project. The frame has been milled to accept a K38 adj rear sight.
The front sight blade had been cut off leaving the shank which was slotted at .059”and crude piece of flat stock was cross pinned in with 3 pins. Not the quality of work shown by rear sight job. Anyway made new front that matches the rear notch. Trial and error have had front sight in and out. Finally have it filed down to 0 range. Final work on front will to be inset brass bead, make new pins and that will be the end of that project except for the final bench rest 0 in. Have just fitted set of Faux Ivory K frame grips too. Just didn’t look right with new S&W Magna grips.
