S&W model 60

Gun Test magazine just reviewed the 60-5" and gave it four stars, one below the max. They called it "the ideal target revolver for shooters with small hands". Accuracy was excellent.

By chance, my wife and I fired our new (to us) 60LS-3" for the first time today. My wife had rouble adapting to fixed sights, but I was able to put five shots into one ragged hole at 25'. I thought the grips were a bit small for me, but this is her gun so we will probably stick with them. I would think the 5" version would be even better.

Finally, folks over on the S&W Forum thiink very highly of this model.

Still wouldn't classify it as a "target gun". The J frames lighter weight and smaller grips make it dificult to shoot as accuratly as a larger revolver. A mod 65 might be a better choice if accuracy is your goal. Less recoil too.
