S&W model 60

Just picked up a model 60(no dash #).Appears to be older model but not that old,has flash chromed hammer & trigger,thin front sight,looked to have been fired only three rounds(burn marks on charge holes).S/N AES 94XX (anyone know how old?) Paid $250 but no box,etc.No dings or scratches,was this about right?

S&W60 sounds right for our area sw Ohio. And from marking looks like older model all in all decent carry weapon.

From the Standard Catalog Of Smith & Wesson, 2nd edition by Supica & Nahas looks like your Smith & Wesson
model 60 was produced between Jan-Nov of 1984.

by a four digit number.
