S&W model 60 question....

I bought a S&W model 60..just like this one..for my wife....A nice little 357 that shoots well....It has no lock tho....These little revolvers are a little bit pricey....My thoughts were to keep it in the Jeep for her....After a month..I took it out and the hammer was solid rust....
I have a 629 Smith that stays in my truck..It has for years..I take out once a year and oil....I have never had rust problems....I guess the hammer is stainless....
Now to the question..do they make a stainless target type hammer for this revolver?

Not sure about the rust issues but I was wondering how you like your model 60? I have been thinking of getting one as my ccw. Either the model you have or the model 60 pro.

I like the gun..just not this rust issue....This was S&W's first all stainless revolver....This one is not all stainless....
